Happy New Year!
Wow, what a way to kick off the new year! I had 2 cakes to complete for this week and boy was I busy! It is all about time management when you are a "one woman show"! For New Year's Eve, I always make a ton of food for the family and we stay in with the kids and play board games and stuff ourselves with food. It won't be long before our kids want nothing to do with hanging out with Mom and Dad, so I take advantage of every chance to have some quality time with them. Needless to say, I had a couple of very late nights this week in order to get everything accomplished! It is all worth it! I am really enjoying making the cakes and each one brings on a new challenge. So, "Happy New Year" everyone and may it be even better than the last!!

Hi, I love your cakes they are so cute :) I have one question though, do you make your own fondant? If you don't where do you get yours from? Also how much business do you get?
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous....Thank You! I do make my own Fondant...I found that the stuff you can buy doesn't taste very good. I don't advertise. My business comes from mainly just word of mouth, FaceBook and my Blog. I usually average about 3-4 cakes a month depending on the month, that is enough to keep me busy!
